O’Leary on Monday, August 21, 2023 of Nina Edris Betts
formerly of Glenwood, aged 87 years, dear wife of the late Raeburn
Betts. Born in Alma, New Brunswick, daughter of the late Mary
(Bannister) Porter.
Loving mother to Earle, Gerald, Norman (Ina), Steven and
Sheldon, all of Glenwood. Dear grandmother to Kimberly Smallman who
she raised, along with Bethany Smallman, Jennifer Smallman, Shannon
Smallman, Derek MacDonald, Justin MacDonald and great grandchildren:
Mackenzie, Caydence, Trinity, Annabelle, Savannah, Jaydon, Leah and
Josie
Nina is also survived by siblings Carol Taylor, Bernard
“Butch” Porter, Sandra Porter, Stephanie (Kyle) Porter,
Linda Friars, half brothers Paul Douthwright and Kevin (Virginia)
Dunville.
Nina is predeceased by her mother, husband Raeburn, daughter
Sheila Smallman, brother in law Chuck Taylor and half brother Austin
Geldart.
Resting at Ferguson Funeral Home Chapel, O’Leary
with visiting hours Friday 1:45 – 2:45 pm. Funeral in the Chapel at
3pm. Interment at a later date in Hillside Cemetery, Elgin,
NB.
