It is with great sadness that the family announce the passing of Nancy Earline Andrews (nee Ellis) wife of Paul Andrews at Hospice Peterborough on Monday, May 1, 2023, at the age of 65.
Nancy was born in Janeville, she was the daughter of Jean Ellis and the late Donald Ellis.
Nancy was a Registered Nurse for over 35 years. She worked at hospitals in Bathurst, Fredericton and Oshawa ON as an Operating Room Nurse. She retired in 2016 after working 13 years in Long Term Care. Nancy’s kind and caring nature made her an exceptional nurse and she touched the lives of countless patients and staff. Nancy’s hobbies included quilting, singing, and was a talented musician playing the piano, violin and accordion.
Besides her husband, she is survived by her children Caitlin Daley and Aaron Daley (Kevin). Stepson Stephen Andrews (Elaine), step-grandchildren Gwen and Caelan.
Her brother, Brooks Ellis (Lou).
Nancy was predeceased by her first husband Paul Daley.
The family would like to thank the staff at Peterborough Hospice for their exceptional care provided to Nancy in her final days.
Visitation will be held on Thursday May 18th at 1 pm until funeral at Central United Church, Clifton, from where the funeral service will be held at 2 pm. Internment will be held after the service at the Stonehaven Cemetery.
Donations in Nancy’s honour can be made to perpetual care at the Stonehaven Cemetery or the Canadian Cancer Society.
