Molly Ann (Hollman) MacDonald of Stettler, Alberta, died peacefully with family after a brief stay at the Stettler Hospice on May 27, 2023.
She was born on June 4, 1941 in Macklin, Saskatchewan to parents Amelia (Molly) Stang and Peter Hollman.
Molly married Kenneth Norman MacDonald of Wayne, AB on February 25, 1965. Molly and Ken spent most of their life in the Stettler area with their two children, daughter Debbie (Perry) Randell of Stettler, AB and son Dr. Richard (Dr. Annette Cronauer) MacDonald of Sewickley, Pennsylvania, USA.
She was predeceased in death by her husband Kenneth MacDonald; sister Rita (Joe) Klein and half brother Gerard Hollman.
She will de dearly missed by her loving family.
She is survived by her brother Joe (Marie) Hollman; half-siblings Virginia Hollman, Marilyn (Jim) Archibald, Gordon (Shelley) Hollman and Juanita (Greg) Szteina; grandchildren: Travis (Kaitlyn) Randell and Nathan Randell of Stettler, Cecelia (Adam Vander Stoep) MacDonald of Iowa City, Kenzington MacDonald of Chicago, Alexander MacDonald and Amalia (Molly Rose) MacDonald of Sewickley; great grandsons Bryson MacPherson, Owen and Wyatt Randell of Stettler. As well as numerous other relatives and many dear friends.
At Molly’s request no formal funeral service will be held.
In lieu of flowers, please send memorial donations in Molly’s memory to Stettler Hospice Society, Box 880, Stettler, AB T0C 2L0. They gave Molly and her family support and comfort at her end-of-life transition; for that, the family is eternally grateful.
