Micheal “Mike” Howson
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Micheal “Mike” Howson at the Timmins and District Hospital on Thursday, September 14, 2023. He leaves behind his loving wife Lorraine Joly, his loving children Wendy Howson (Chad), Tim Howson (Tania), John Howson (Roxanne), Laura Howson (Ryan), Daniel Letourneau and Eric Letourneau (Katia). He also leaves behind numerous grandchildren; Tylor, Steven, Alexzandra, Lillian, Mathieu, Brooklyn, Gabrielle, Yannick, Parker, Sam and Ryder. Also left behind are his brothers and sisters; Stella Nicholas (Gerry), Alvin Howson (Carole), Odell Rudiger (Paul), Ida Nicholas (Guy), June Ridiger (Max) and Bert Howson (Unis) along with numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his son Adam Howson and his siblings Mugsy and Charles. Mike is leaving this journey to embark on a new path with the ones that have departed before him. He has received his golden wings, fly high, until we meet again. You are gone but will never be forgotten, always in our hearts. In lieu of flowers, remembrance donations to the Timmins and Area Women in Crisis would be greatly appreciated. The family will receive friends and family for a celebration of Mike’s life on Wednesday, September 20, 2023 at 1pm at 555 Balsam Street North in Timmins.
