Mr. Michael Zerbes of Delhi , passed away peacefully at the Tillsonburg District Memorial Hospital , on Friday, April 7, 2023 in his 84th year. Mike loved working on cars and farming but his biggest passion was his family, especially his grandchildren. He was a professional wrestler in the ‘60s. Michael loved NASCAR and enjoyed watching the Fast and Furious movie series. Michael will be remembered as a selfless man with a big heart. Beloved husband of Mary Elizabeth Zerbes (Neyvatte). Loving father of Jennifer McMillian (Todd), Shauna Reid (Jay), and Ashley Zerbes ( Gary ). Cherished grandfather of Brianne Ebert (Kyle), Jacie Reid, Avri and Jameson Faulds. Dearest brother of Les Zerbes (Lynda), Don Zerbes (Margaret), Mag Zerbes and Pat Jones (Gary) and sister in laws, Joyce Neyvatte (Late Ron) and Kathy Neyvatte. Also survived by several nieces, nephews and in laws. Predeceased by his parents, Michael & Josephine (Hannington) Zerbes, by his brother James Zerbes (2014) (Late Theresa, 1998), by his sister Robina Lomison (2010) and by three infant siblings: Lawrence, Roda and Mona. Special Thank You to the Tillsonburg District Memorial Hospital , the E.R. Staff, and 2nd South Floor staff as well as Dr. Thorogood for their excellent care & compassion. A Celebration of Life will take place at the Family Home at 555 3rd Concession STR, Delhi on Saturday, September 30, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. Memorial Donations can be made to the Alzheimer Society at the MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, Delhi (519) 582-1290 (www.mfh.care) and will be gratefully appreciated by the family.
