It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Michael Anthony D’Alessandro (“Deli”) on April 15, 2023. He is lovingly remembered by his wife Diana, son Nicholas and daughter Sienna. He will be forever cherished by his dear parents Nicola and Vera, and by his in-laws Alessandro and Italia. Adored brother to Angela (Luciano) and Sandra (Steven), and brother-in-law to Angela (Paul) and Michael. Michael was a proud and loving uncle to his nieces Sophia, Francesca, Ava, Sofia, Sara, and Elisa. He was loved dearly by his Nonna Alessandra and the late Luigi (“Gigi”) Buttarazzi, and the late Guglielmo and Virginia D’Alessandro. He will be held dear in the hearts of his family, many friends and all the people whose hearts he’s touch.
Michael was a man who never stopped exploring, crafting, and learning new things. His light-hearted spirit and infectious personality made it effortless for him to connect with anyone he met, and he cherished the bonds he formed with friends old and new. Despite his tall and strong exterior, those who knew him knew he possessed a heart full of tenderness, love, and wonder.
In lieu of flowers and in memory of Michael donations may be made to either Waves of Changes for Autism (www.wavesofchanges.ca), your local Food Bank or any charity of your choice.
