It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Merrie Calder at the Juravinski Hospital in Hamilton on February 19, 2023. Loving and devoted wife of Bill for 51 years. Loving mother of Rick (Liz) and Mitch. Merrie will be missed by her granddaughters Courtney, Athena, Hunter, Kendall and Synclair and all her nieces, nephews, and great grandchildren. Predeceased by her sisters Anne and Jane and grandson Stephen. Merrie was a beautiful, caring, and loving person who brightened the lives of everyone who knew her. Merrie always had a smile for everyone. A special thank you to Erryn who has been and continues to be a rock in our lives. Cremation has taken place and there will be a celebration of Merrie’s life in a few weeks in Winona, Ontario. In lieu of flowers, a donation to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be very much appreciated.
