It is with profound sadness that the family of Pat McGill announce that after a long struggle he has passed away on Wednesday, March 22, 2023.
He passed away at the Villa Care Centre in Midland in his 69th year. Pat was the father of Deanna Thompson (Heath), Scott McGill (Dara), and Ryon McGill (Tammie). Proud grandfather of Daniel, Victoria, Harper, Easton, Braden and Isabella.
He has been reunited with his parents, Bill and Sally McGill, as well as his sister Brigid Van de Sande and brothers, Mark, Paul, Danny, Greg and John-Pat. Remaining is his sister Cathy Mathers and brothers, Bob, Mike (Sandra), Clair (Darlene) and brother-in-law George Van de Sande. Pat will be missed by his many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, family and friends.
A visitation will be held at the Lynn-Stone Funeral Home in Elmvale from 2-4 and 7-9 pm on Tuesday, March 28, 2023. The funeral service will take place on Wednesday, March 29, 2023 at 11 am at St. Patrick’s Church in Phelpston.
Memorial donations may be made to either the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
