On June 28, 2023, Mrs. Christine Ann McFadyen of Elk Point passed away at the age of 83 years. She is survived by her daughter, Dorothy Appleton; 2 sons, Darrel (Tracy) Appleton & Darren Appleton; 14 grandchildren, Pamela & Reece Cobbe, Nicole Appleton, Cody, Maddex & Tyrell Appleton, Jessica, Jasmine & Jennifer Appleton, Cody & Troy Appleton, Shannon (Ryan), Wilm & Damien (Tiffany) Thurston; 12 great-grandchildren, Taylor Charlton, Graydon, Brian & Max Cobbe, Jaxson, Riley & Ashton Maddex, Oscar & Iver Appleton, Julius Charlton, Harley & Maxwell Maddex; brother, Steve Lutyk; sister-in-law, Violet Lutyk; numerous nieces & nephews. Christine was predeceased by her first husband, Fred Appleton Jr.; second husband, Barrie McFadyen; son, Dale Appleton, daughter, Donna Charlton; parents, Nicholas & Hazel Hamel; step-father, Armand Hamel; brother & sister-in-law, Clarry & Ruth Lutyk; sister, Mary Eindram, brother-in-law, Alex Windram; sister-in-law, Myrna Fox; nephews, Robert & James Lutyk; great-nephew, Wade Racine; granddaughter, Tammy Charlton; grandson, Charles Maddex; great-granddaughter, Clara Lynn Appleton. A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, July 5 at 11:00 a.m. at Elk Point Seniors Centre, Elk Point.
