Mathew Stanley Whitehead

It is with heavy hearts that the Whitehead family announces the sudden passing of Mathew Stanley Whitehead on Thursday, January 19, 2023, he was in his 32nd year. Much loved son of Stanley & Joanne Whitehead (nee Johnston). Cherished brother of Meaghan Whitehead (David Forde) and Mallory Whitehead (Joe Parkes). Proud uncle of Alex, Tanner and Carter. Lovingly remembered by his grandfather “Papa Jack” Johnston and predeceased by grandparents Stan & Betty Whitehead and Ronald & Anne Laing. Sadly missed by his aunts and uncles Jill & Peter Bray, Helen Avis (predeceased Morley), Bob Whitehead, Eleanor Chester (Tim), Ward Whitehead (Heather) and cousins, extended family and friends.
Family will receive friends at the Opatovsky Funeral Home – Moore Chapel on Friday, January 27, 2023 from 2-4 p.m. Funeral service will be held at Knox Presbyterian Church January 28, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. followed by cremation.
If desired, donations to the CMHA-Muskoka-Parry Sound or Almaguin Pet Rescue would be gratefully acknowledged as expressions of sympathy.
