Brown, Mary Leone – Peacefully, on Monday June 19, 2023 at the Georgetown Hospital. Leone, in her 93rd year, wife of the late Harold Brown (1991). Loving mother of Lillian Elliott (the late Bill), Harry (Linda), and Barb (Brian Hewson) and mother-in-law of Darlene Brown. Leone was also predeceased by her sons John (1999) and Lloyd (2022). Cherished gramma of Charlene, Melanie, Rob, Lisa, Billy, Terry, Greg, Tracey, Christine, Heather, Kim, Emmett, Kate, Josh, Brianne, Rebecca and Hannah. Loved great gramma of Cody, Brittany, Megan, Cole, Taylor, Emma, Sierra, Maya, Garrett, Mariah, Anna, Nora, Travis, Hayden, Kenzie, Rosa, Riley, Haddie, Cora and Leo. Loved great great gramma of Aspen, Eva and Oliver. Leone worked along side her husband Harold on the farm for over 30 years. Leone enjoyed quilting, knitting, jig saw puzzles and word searches. Leone will be forever remembered by her family for her love that she had for her family, her faith and her family at the Limehouse Presbyterian Church. Friends will be received at the Jones Funeral Home, 11582 Trafalgar Road, Georgetown (905) 877-3631 on Sunday from 2-4 p.m. Funeral service will be held in the chapel on Monday June 26, 2023 at 2 p.m. Interment Limehouse Cemetery. Reception to follow in the Limehouse Presbyterian Church Basement. Memorial contributions to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Limehouse Presbyterian Church would be appreciated.
