Marlene G. Pifer (April 3rd 1946 – April 29 2023)
Marlene passed away peacefully with the love of her children by her side at RVH in Barrie,
Ontario on Saturday April 29th, 2023.
Marlene is the beloved wife of the late Roy Pifer (2013).
Much loved and devoted sister to Joan Grant (deceased), Stan Joslin, Wayne Joslin (Sharon
deceased), Heather White, Brenda Gallaugher (Phillip), Jack Joslin (Shelley) and Robert (Barb)
Joslin.
Incredibly loved and devoted Mother, in every sense of the word to Darlene Barker (Kelly
Sparks), Jody Pifer (Stacey Marsden Pifer), Peter Pifer (Cassie Lougheed) and Derek Pifer.
Grandma Pifer will always be held close in the hearts of her grandchildren Bradley, Luke, Jesse
and Kaylee (Kyle) Barker, Cody Pifer, Sarah (Justin Webster), Alice (Brendan Lacoste) Pifer,
Brett and Megan Pifer, Alyshia Laube. Great grandmother of Adelynn, Malakai, Bella, Breanna, Elsa, Nixon, Mercedys, Stella, Roy and Levi. Special “Gummy Pifer” to Bentley and Carter.
Our loss is immeasurable. Mom will also be sorely missed by all of her nieces, nephews and
everyone that was blessed to know her.
We will be forever grateful to the care and compassion shown to Mom during her short stay at
RVH.
Rest Easy in the arms of Dad, he was waiting for you!

In lieu of flowers, donations to the RVH Cardiac Unit would be appreciated by the family.
Interment and family service to be held at a later date at the Creemore Union Cemetery where
