Passed away at the Baldur Transitional Unit on Saturday December 31, 2022, at the age of 87 years, Marjorie Louise McPhail (nee Giles), of Brandon, MB, formerly of Belmont, MB.
Marjorie leaves to mourn her passing her daughter Cathy (Martin) Scott of Victoria, B.C., four grandchildren Miles Scott, Graeme Scott (Ayumi), Tyler McPhail & Travis McPhail; sister Peggy Longstaff of Cardale, MB as well as numerous extended family members.
She was predeceased by her husband Roy (2008), son James (2014), parents Stanley & Eva Giles and by a sister Laura McNutt.
Cremation has taken place and a graveside service will be held at a later date at Hillside Cemetery, Belmont, MB.
Friends that so desire, memorial donations can be made in Marjorie’s memory to the Belmont Historical Society, c/o R.M. of Prairie Lakes, Box 100, Belmont, MB, R0K 0C0.
