With heavy hearts we must announce that Marija ‘Mari’ Udzbinac went to be with her Lord on Monday, January 2, 2023 at the age of 92. Beloved wife (Mamek) for 72 years to Rudolf Udzbinac. Cherished mom of George (Mary) Udzbinac, Joe (Cindy) Udzbinac and Damir Udzbinac. Mari was the dearest Baka to Derek (Jessica) Udzbinac, Lauren (Matt) McReynolds, Haley (Corey) Wilson, Jessica Watson and Great Baka to Madison, Knox, Bowen, Wesley and Lainey. She will be remembered dearly by her siblings Theresa (the late John) Dienesch, Elizabeth (Helmut) Schleicher, the late Regina and Maurice Quintal as well as her many nieces, nephews and dear cousins. Her family will like to express their gratitude to all the staff in Palliative Care at CKHA-Chatham Campus for the compassionate care given to Mari in her final days and as well to her dear neighbours Jack and Marg, Lydia and Chris for their kindness and support. Family and Friends are invited for visitation at the Haycock-Cavanagh Funeral Home (409 Nelson Street in Wallaceburg, 519-627-3231) on Thursday, January 5, 2023 from 2-4 and 6-8pm. Her Mass of the Resurrection will be Celebrated at Our Lady Help of Christians Church on Friday January 6, 2023 at 11am followed by burial at Riverview Cemetery.
