Obituary of Margaret MacNichol
It is with heavy hearts that the family of Margaret Alice MacNichol announce her passing at the Passamaquoddy Lodge on May 21, 2023 at the age of 96. She was the daughter of the late Melvin and Alice (MacLaren) Dougherty and the wife of the late Harry MacNichol.
She will live on in the hearts of her son, Brian MacNichol and his wife Susan; her grandchildren: Christopher (Angel) and Linda (Blake); her special friends: Jane, Rosemary, Nancy, Wendy and several others; as well as several nieces and nephews. Along with her parents and husband; she is predeceased by several family members.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the compassionate care of Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sus, (506-433-1176). As per Margaret’s request there will be a short graveside service and interment at the St. Andrew’s Rural Cemetery at a later date.
Donations in memory of Margaret may be made to St. Andrew’s Rural Cemetery or a charity of the donor’s choice. Personal condolences to the family and donations may be made through wallacefuneralhome.com
