Margaret (‘Peggy’) Woodside (nee Robinson), passed away peacefully at the age of 85, at her home (Deer Park Villa), on January 23, 2023. Peggy was predeceased by her husband of nearly 40 years, Robert (‘Bob’) Woodside, and her parents Jimmy and Ginny (nee Edgar) Robinson. She is survived by her devoted family: her children, Jim Woodside and Karen Woodside, her daughter-in-law Carolyn, her granddaughters Kate and Kiera, and her sister-in-law Margaret Bergin.
Born in Belfast Northern Ireland, Peggy came to Canada at the age of 18. Here, she met and married the love of her life, Bob. Bob and Peggy enjoyed a life filled with love, laughter, family and dear friends.
A testament to her inherent good nature, she was filled with smiles and laughter during her final years, while she lived with dementia. The staff at Deer Park Villa (Grimsby, ON) provided her with exemplary care, warmth and affection.
Peggy appreciated everything about life. She will be greatly missed by friends and family on both sides of the Atlantic.
