It is with great sadness that we announce that Margaret Eleanor (Peggy) Cameron peacefully passed away on Wednesday, July 26th, 2023, at the age of 98 and with loved ones by her side. Peggy was born in Airdrie, Alberta on July 3rd, 1925. As a baby the family moved to Calgary and at the age of five, moved to Taber, Alberta where she received her education. In 1944, she married Lachlan ‘Stanley’ Cameron and they moved to the homestead just outside Brooks, Alberta where she remained until her passing. Together, Stan and Peggy had 2 children, Diane and Calvin. Peggy found joy tending to her flower gardens. She enjoyed playing bingo, crocheting, doing jigsaw puzzles and spending time on her own.
