It is with great sadness that the family of the late Margaret Mehaney, age 97 years, of Hillgrade, NL announce her passing at the Notre Dame Bay Memorial Health Centre, Twillingate, NL on Friday, February 24, 2023.
She is predeceased by her parents Alexander & Fanny, husband Seymour, brother Clayton Sansome and sister Netta Chappell.
Left with fond and loving memories are her children Baxter, Lloyd (Cindy), grandchildren Nikita, Mackenzie, sister Betty Gidge, as well as a large number of extended family and friends.
Resting at New World Island Funeral Home with public visitation on Monday, February 27, 2023 from 12:00 – 1:30 p.m. Funeral service will take place from the chapel at 2:00 p.m.
Donations in Margaret’s memory may be given to the New World Island East Central United Church, Newville, NL.
