Mrs. Margaret Ditchfield (nee: Stradecki), age 89 years, passed away on Thursday, May 11, 2023, at home surrounded by family.
Margaret loved and cherished her family; they were everything to her. She enjoyed spending time with her grand and great grandchildren, whether it was a visit or a quick call to say hello. Especially in recent years, time spent together meant the absolute world to her.
In her younger years, Margaret enjoyed gardening and knitting.
She is survived by her children James (Pam), and Susan (Mickey); grandchildren Amanda (Gene), Ashley (Tom), and Cynthia; 7 great grandchildren William, Jonathan, Hailey, Trystane, Tatianna, Nika, and Katia; as well as other extended relatives.
Predeceased by her parents, husband, Ralph; brothers Felix and Joseph; and sisters Bertha and Kathleen.
Services will be held in St. Margaret’s Roman Catholic Church, date and time to be announced, with Father Ciarán Donnelly officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Kidney Foundation of Canada would be greatly appreciated.
