“Peggy” Margaret Emily Addison
It is with sadden hearts that we announce the passing of Margaret Emily Addison (Anderson) in the late hours of May 30th, 2023. “Peggy” drifted away peacefully in her daughter’s home in Marmora at the age of 96.
Peggy graduated nursing school in the 40’s and was very passionate about nursing and caring for others. Once she had her own family, she devoted her time to taking care of her husband and two daughters. Her motto was always be kind to others which she carried with her during her time on earth.
In her 60th year she became a very successful, licensed real estate broker. Always a go getter she let nothing stop her once she had her mind set. Peggy was an elegant, highly intelligent lady, and a very loving wife and mother.
Pre-deceased by her husband, Blake Wingrove Addison of Toronto, ON; brothers James Wilkerson Anderson of White Rock. BC, John Scott Anderson of Durham, ON and Peter Leith “Lee” Anderson of Kelowna, BC. Survived by her brother Douglas O’Neill Anderson of Moncton, NB, and her two daughters, Barbara G Addison of Florida, and Nancy D Addison of Marmora, ON, and extended Anderson family.
A celebration of life will be held at Oliphant, Ontario on Monday, August 21, 2023.
