ALLEN, Margaret Christina (nee Skelton) – It is with great sadness we announce the passing of our dear mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She has peacefully gone to her eternal home on January 7, 2023 in her 100th at her home in St. Charles Village, Welland. She was dearly loved by everyone who knew her and will be greatly missed. She is predeceased by her husband William and 5 siblings, Frances (Norman), Edgar (Dorothy), Frank (Freda), Rob (Myrtle) and Joyce (Alvin). She is survived by her children June (Wayne) and Faye (Richard-Joe), grandchildren Craig (Rebecca), Darrin (Kelly) and Daniel (Chandra) and 6 great grandchildren. During her life she worked at Bible Book Nook and Ross Stores, she was a Sunday School teacher and was always available to help others. We will miss her sweet smile, Christian guidance and example, unconditional love, great sense of humour and the chocolate bars she shared so often. Heartfelt thanks to the staff of St. Charles Village and St. Elizabeth’s Palliative Care. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Open Arms Mission or the charity of your choice. A Funeral Service will be held Friday, January 27, 2023 at 1:30 p.m. at Christian Life Assembly, 484 Barrick Road, Port Colborne, with visitation to follow.
