The family announces with sorrow his passing in Sudbury on Friday, May 5, 2023 at the age of 79 years. Son of the late Arthur and the late Aurore (née Richer) Lalonde. Beloved husband of the late Réjeanne (née Bellemare) Lalonde. Loving father of Guy Lalonde (predeceased), Denis Lalonde (Lynn), Jeanne Lalonde (Alberto), Jean Lalonde (Diane) and Richard Lalonde (Carmen). Predeceased by his siblings Edna Clément (late René), Edouard, Rhéal (late Thérèse) and Claude (Phyllis). Sadly missed by his grandchildren Nathalie, Justin, Jamie, Jacques, Joel, Sheldon, Devon, Shannon and by his great-grandchildren Caleb, Alex, Maya, Mirabelle, Cataléya, Isabelle, Addison, Cédric and Mylène. Lovingly remembered by Rolande, as well as by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. The family will receive relatives and friends at the Cooperative Funeral Home, 4570 St-Joseph St., Hanmer on Thursday, May 25, 2023 from 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, May 26, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at the St-Jacques Church, Hanmer.
