In loving memory of our dear Lynn,
With the heaviest of hearts, we are deeply saddened to mourn the passing of our loving grandmother, mother, sister and friend Lynn Gould on January 9, 2023 in her 77th year. Lynn was born in Haileybury Ontario to the late Phyllis St. Denis.
Lynn had a love for the simple things in life. She cherished her time with family and friends and was always willing to share a good recipe, her homemade preserves or her handknitted dish cloths, mittens, and toques. She was an eternal optimist and no matter what challenges life presented she faced them with a fierce determination. Wherever she went, Lynn spread love, joy and positivity.
She will be lovingly remembered by her two loving children Darren and Jessica and Doug and Denise and her grandsons Mitchell, Jacob and Hayden. Lynn will be dearly missed by her sisters Denise Sopha (Dando), Lisa Sopha (Cowley) and Dave, her brother Mark Sopha and Guylaine and was sadly predeceased by her youngest sister Holly Sopha.
Tremendous thanks to the PRHC Intensive Care team that lovingly looked after Lynn until she was ready to be with the angels. In keeping with Lynn’s wishes, cremation has taken place and a celebration of her life will take place at a later date in Cobalt Ontario.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Historic Cobalt Legacy Fund through The Temiskaming Foundation website (temiskamingfoundation.ca) in memory of Lynn would be greatly appreciated.
