Lorna is predeceased by her parents, Joseph and Emma Boone, brothers-in-law, Peter (Mae) Brockie, and Charles Tilley; nephew Dougie Tilley, and special friend, Ernest Noseworthy. She leaves to mourn her sister, Ethel; nephews Keith (Karen), and Robert (Kim); great nephews Josh (Emily), and Jordan (Jeanine); great-great nephews Peter and Ben Brockie, and Jackson Tilley; great-great nieces Amelia and Ellie Tilley.
Lorna worked with Asarco for many years as an office clerk, Buchans Development Corporation, and receptionist at A.M. Guy Memorial Health Centre. She was an active volunteer and had a very giving heart, especially with the children. She was a very present and caring aunt and sister.
As per her wishes, cremation has taken place with a graveside service to be held at a later date.
