Obituary for
Lloyd “Butch/Squeekie” Labine
The family announces with deep sorrow Lloyd’s passing on Tuesday, March 28, 2023 after a 15 year battle with cancer. He is survived by his beloved wife of nearly 45 years Lynn (nurse Ratched), his sons Stewart (Amanda) and Matthew (Lisa). Also left to mourn are his grandchildren Logan, Danielle and Connor and his siblings Brenda (Joe) Griener, Sandra (Marc) Bussiere, Darlene (Barry) LeDuc and Kenneth (Linda). He was predeceased by his parents Joseph (2009) and Rita (2023) Labine.
Lloyd will be remembered for his love of family and friends, his laugh and his opinions. He was always right there if you needed help. Lloyd also loved riding his motorcycle; you didn’t have to ask him twice to go for a ride.
Lynn and the family want to express their deepest thanks to all of Lloyd’s closest friends for all the support over the years. You know who you are and we appreciate all that you did. Special thank you to Dr. Gillies for the care she provided.
As per Lloyd’s wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no funeral service. In lieu of flowers, please donate to Canadian Cancer Society or a charity of your choice. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to MIRON-WILSON FUNERAL HOME, Cremation and Reception Centre, 150 Balsam St. S., Timmins.
