Lisa’s Obituary
RODGERSON (Ogilvie), Lisa Colleen ~ Age 49, of Brazil Lake, Yarmouth Co., formerly of North Kingston, Kings Co., passed away suddenly on Thursday, April 20, 2023, at home. Born on December 6, 1973, in Berwick, she was a daughter of Ruth B. (Spicer) (Ogilvie) Nichols, Berwick and the late George F. Ogilvie. Lisa had worked as a waitress and enjoyed cooking, being employed at Farmers Family Diner in Millville and most recently at Marcos in Yarmouth. She loved all animals including horses and had been a dog breeder. Lisa enjoyed barrel racing and took an interest in antiques. Besides her mother, she is survived by her husband, Troy L.W. Rodgerson; daughters, Jay-Lee Ogilvie, Greenwood; Savannah Tingley and her cats, North Kingston; grandchildren, Georgia and Jacob; brother, Darrell (Carolyn Wallace) Ogilvie, Turners Brook; Connie (Keith Dempsey) Ogilvie, Victoria Harbour; Heather (Mike Hirtle) Ogilvie-Spicer, Whites Corner; several nieces and nephews. There will be no visitation at the funeral home. Graveside service will take place at 1:00 p.m., Friday, April 28, in Burlington Cemetery, Barley St., Burlington, with Pastor Paul Cameron officiating. A potluck style reception to follow at Burlington Community Hall. Donations in her memory may be made to Kings County S.P.C.A.
