ROVERE, Linda Maureen
It is with profound sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of our beloved Linda on January 3, 2023. Linda fought a short but courageous battle against cancer and is now in the arms of her parents Jack and Wynn Anderson.
Linda is survived by her loving husband of 41 years Lorenzo and her sister Louise Dupuis (Don). She was retired from the Greater Es County District School Board where she was a primary teacher for 32 years. She touched the lives of so many children and parents in those years and she was loved by all of them. Many of her former students have become friends and often contact her from across the globe.
Linda had many talents and interests: cooking, gardening, decorating, trip planning, entertaining, reading. She loved shopping of every kind but especially for clothing. She loved to dress up and always looked classy.
But Linda’s greatest talent and interest was making friends, both here and around the world. Linda was the spark that lit the fire of friendship in everyone she met. She will be truly missed by all.
The family would like to thank Dr. Patrick Soong her family doctor, Dr. Abdullah Nasser her oncologist, and the staffs of both the Windsor Cancer Clinic and the 7 North nurses of The Metropolitan Hospital for the kind and compassionate way they treated Linda these last few months. At Linda’s request cremation has taken place and a private family ceremony will take place in the spring when the flowers are blooming.
