It is with deep sadness we announce the passing of
Leslie Gayle Gratton, age 66, of
Dorchester.
Leslie passed away on Monday, July 17, 2023 at the Dr.
Georges L Dumont Hospital after a battle with cancer.

Born in Saskatoon, SK, she was a daughter of the
late Grady and Isabelle (Brizinski) Gratton.

Leslie was an avid volunteer through the Dorchester
Lions Club, and Urban/Rural Rides. Her services to the community are
well noted as she generously donated time and expertise in
cooking.

Leslie was always found in a discussion with either
strangers or friends. She had an eclectic collection of trivia and
facts that could stimulate any conversation. She was also well known
for her participation in the annual polar dip.

She will be dearly missed by her husband Dan
Matthews, Dorchester; sisters Shelly Roch, Kelowna, BC, and Wendy
(Brian) Darrow, Saskatoon, SK; her step-children, Steven Matthews,
Germany, and Margaret Pavaroni, Calgary, AB, as well as several
friends and community members.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the
Jones Funeral Home, 70 Bridge Street,
Sackville, NB (506-364-1300). Cremation has taken
place. A Celebration of Life will be held at her home on
August 19, 2023 starting at 2 pm.
