Obituary
Laurin, Lee Heather (nee MacMillan)
1959-2023
Our precious Lee passed away peacefully on August 5th, 2023 surround by her loving family.
Dear wife and soulmate of Ron, loving mother to Adam and Katie (Michael). Cherished Nan to Zara. Survived by her brothers Roy (Audrey) and Al (Cynthia). Predeceased by parents Don and Gladys.
Lee had a life filled with gardening, baking, cooking, and any type of needlework imaginable. Her unfailing and unending love for family and friends is what we will all remember. She was always there to lend a hand or an ear and provide comfort and support for those she knew and loved.
The family would like to thank the ALS society of Canada. There was a team of many caring doctors, nurses and therapists that supported Lee at Providence Care and we want to extend our gratitude to them. We want to thank the members of our Loyalist Community. Our special friends and neighbours are wonderful people who cared for us in so many ways.
Lee’s strong spirit and love of her family was her source of strength in her last year as she struggled with the horrible disease, ALS. Despite many day-to-day challenges, she never complained and always thought of others before herself. We will remember, and miss, her laughter and love.
