Obituary
Lea McGraw, 82, of Canaan Station, passed away peacefully at her residence on Thursday, June 15, 2023. Born in Acadieville, she was the daughter of the late Arthur and Henriette (Daigle) Barrieau.
Lea worked for over 23 years at The George L. Dumont University Hospital Centre in the kitchen. She was a dedicated catholic and attended church in Moncton and Acadieville. She loved to listen to music, especially country, going for drives, her dog daisy, but most important to her was her family, and the many gatherings she shared with them.
She will be sadly missed by her children, Linda McGraw (Gary), Stella Gibbon (Horst), Emile McGraw and Theodore McGraw (Shelly); 9 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; sister, Eva Thebeau; and brothers, Marcel and Lionel Barrieau; as well as many extended family members.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Ronald McGraw; sons, Yvon, Edmond, Arthur and Jean-Guy; as well as her many siblings.
Visitation at Fergusons Funeral Home, 1657 Mountain Road, Moncton (506-858-1995) on Wednesday, June 21 from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm. Burial will take place immediately after in the Catholic Cemetery in Acadieville.
