Larry Merner
September 3, 1956 – January 9, 2023
It’s with heavy and sadden hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved, Lawrence “Larry” Fredrick Merner, aged 66. He passed peacefully away at the Dr. L. A. Miller Center after his struggle with cancer on Monday, January 9, 2023.
Loved by many, he was a caring and generous soul and known for his infectious smile, laughter, and sense of humor.
Predeceased by his parents Patrick and Ann; sister Annie; brothers Dennis and Wayne; and other close relatives.
Leaving to mourn, loving wife Brenda; sons Bradley (Nancy) and Patrick (Krista); brothers Edward (Carol) and Garry (Lucy); sisters: Beverly (Darryl), Sharon (Greg) and Sheila; grandchildren: Abby, Sophie, Nora and Myles; a large network for extended family, including an uncle, cousins, nieces, nephews, sisters-in-law, and brothers-in-law, and a large circle of close friends.
A special thanks to family physician, Dr. John Janes, and the staff of the Dr. L. A. Miller Center for their care and compassion.
Resting at Caul’s Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road. The family will receive visitors on Wednesday, January 11, 2023 and Thursday, January 12, 2023 from 2 p.m – 4 p.m and 7 p.m to 9 p.m. Funeral service details to be announced.
