Obituary
Larry I. Cassidy, 77, of McKees Mills, passed away peacefully at The Stella Maris Hospital on Monday, May 8, 2023. Born in Moncton, he was the son of the late Walter and Florence (Donahue) Cassidy.
Larry worked for many years as a Transport Truck operator with CN. In his early years he enjoyed playing hockey and baseball with his boys, he liked to watch all different sports golf, hockey, NASCAR, he was an avid fan of the Blue Jays and Montreal Canadiens. In his retirement he enjoyed maintaining his property and golfing.
He will be sadly missed by his loving wife, Alice Cassidy (nee LeBlanc); sons, Darren Cassidy (Amber) and Jeff Cassidy (Jennifer); his precious grandson, Parker Cassidy; sister, Sandra Cassidy (Pierre Cormier); brothers, Norman Cassidy (Jennie) and their daughter, January and Leonard Cassidy (Kim Johnson); as well as his many extended family members and friends.
A Service to Celebrate Larry’s life will be held at Fergusons Funeral Home Chapel, 1657 Mountain Road, Moncton (506-858-1995) on Saturday, May 12, 2023 at 2:00 pm. Reception will follow in the Funeral Home Reception Centre. Interment will be held at St. Lawrence O’Toole Cemetery, Irishtown.
