Born August 18, 1946, in Toronto, ON, Joan Lake peacefully passed away at the Kelowna Hospice House on March 6, 2023. Joan is survived by her loving husband of 56 years, Robert, and their children, D’Arcy Lake of Kelowna, BC and Kim Lake of Hornby Island, BC.
Joan and Bob retired from G.E. and moved to Kelowna, where Joan enjoyed her craft of weaving (which she excelled at). Joan will be remembered as kind, gracious, and full of patience. She will be lovingly remembered and sorely missed.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Interior Region | Alzheimer Society of British Columbia.
