The LORD in His infinite wisdom has promoted to glory Ken Linde on Sunday, June 18, 2023, at the age of 87.
Beloved husband of Tina (nee Flokstra), for 62 years. Loving father to Jeannie and †Bill Hoeksema, Tony and Ruth Linde, Lorraine and Jake Tamminga, †Liz and Wayne Vanderwoude, Cindy and Gary Wieske, Marian and Simon Vanderwoude, †John Linde, Christine and Gregory Pallas, Sheryl and Marcel Kampen. Dear Opa of 36 grandchildren, 23 spouses, and 45 great-grandchildren.
He was the loved brother-in-law of Zwany Linde, Cor and Emma Flokstra, Henny Flokstra, Margaret VanEgmond, and Cynthia Admiraal. Uncle Ken will be missed by many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, Arend and Geertje Linde and all his siblings, Tine, Tjiske, Harm, Piet, John, and Lize, and 12 in-laws. Ken will be greatly missed by his church family in Attercliffe, and his friends and neighbours in the community where he lived and farmed for over 60 years.
Visitation will be on Wednesday, June 21, 2023 from 2:00-4:00 p.m. and 7:00-9:00 p.m. at Attercliffe Canadian Reformed Church, 85948 Canborough Road, Dunnville.
All are welcome to attend the Interment at 9:45 a.m. on Thursday, June 22, 2023, at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens Cemetery, 700 Chapel Hill Rd, Stoney Creek. Funeral Service to follow at 11:00 am, at the Attercliffe Canadian Reformed Church. Livestream of both the Graveside and Funeral Service will be available.
Special thanks for the care and compassion shown to Ken by the doctors and staff at the Dialysis Clinic in Stoney Creek and many other health care providers over the past few years.
