It is with great sadness that we announce the unexpected passing of Kirsten Allison Denney in Lethbridge, Alberta on Saturday, August 26, 2023 at the age of 22 years. Kirsten was born in Red Deer, Alberta on March 4, 2001. She graduated from École Secondaire Notre Dame High School in 2020 and was planning on attending Red Deer Polytechnic in the fall. Kirsten will be lovingly remembered by her parents, Sherry Carlson and Don Denney of Red Deer, Alberta; her grandparents, Sheila Carlson and Eric Bryer of Red Deer, Alberta, and Marilyn and Allison Denney of Barrie, Ontario; her aunts and uncles, Monica (Neil) Sagan, Kevin (Krista) Carlson and Bob (Patricia) Denney; as well as numerous family members and dear friends. A Public Visitation will be held one hour prior to the Funeral Mass. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 6 McMillan Avenue, Red Deer, Alberta on Friday, September 1, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. If desired, Memorial Donations in Kirsten’s honor may be made directly to any Drug and Alcohol Recovery Program.
