June 12, 1943 — January 2, 2023
It is with great sadness that Keith’s family announces his passing. He fought a noble battle with COPD and heart disease and passed peacefully at the Sturgeon Community Hospital.
He leaves to mourn his devoted wife of 59 years, Carolyn, his 3 children; Toni (Dave), Joan (Gary), and Jamie (Karen), four amazing grandchildren; Alyssa, Keith, Haley and Mason, and his faithful four-legged companion, Chevy.
He will also be lovingly remembered by his brothers and sisters-in-law, and numerous nieces and nephews—the Jennings clan.
Keith was blessed to have the most amazing collection of life-long friends.
From elementary school, to high school and the Joker’s Car Club, to Swift, Pacemaker, Challenger, and Speedway, our dad’s circle of friends became our extended family. His employees will always remember him as as firm, but fair, and the hardest working guy in the shop.
Our dad was passionate about many things, none more than family and friends. He was always happy to celebrate the accomplishments of others. He was also an adrenaline junkie. From heli-skiing, racing the quarter mile, water skiing, jet-skiing, and dirt biking, he felt the need for speed!
Wherever he is now, he’s cutting the perfect light, smoking a Player’s Filter, knowing there’s Pilsner and egg-salad bunwiches in the pits!
We will love you always and miss you terribly, Dad!
Very special thank you to the nurses and doctors in the ER and Unit 17 at the Sturgeon Community Hospital. You took phenomenal care of our dad in his last days and we are grateful for your loving care.
A Celebration of Life will be held in the summer. It will be a party!
If you wish to make a donation in Keith’s name, please honour the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
