Obituary of Julie Park
Julie (Frampton) Park
December 6, 1962 – January 19, 2023
Surrounded by the family she loved with all of her heart, Monica Julie Park passed away peacefully at Western Memorial Hospital’s ICU on January 19th.
Left behind with their hearts broken are her devoted husband Max, her four sons Aaron (Katie), Nicholas (Megan), Jeffrey (Hannah), and Ryan (Lydia), her precious grandchildren George, Theodore, and Nelly and her mother-in-law Stella. Her precious pup, Hugo will be lost without her.
Her sisters Debra Gill (Melvin), Sandra Myles (David), and Marie Blackwood (Jerry) will miss her forever, along with her nieces and nephews Shawn Johnson, Kelly Combdon (Stephen), Megan Coles (Ryan), Bradley Myles (Clinton), and Brianna Kean (Christian) and her great-nephews and great-nieces Cohen and Emma Combdon, Nathan and Dylan Coles, Makayla and Levi Blackwood, and Eloise Gill.
Julie also leaves behind her devoted friend Cathy Howlett (Brian), special cousins Connie Keough (Jim), Alan Whitten, Terry Whitten (Scott), Jason Smith (Christine), Janice Clarke (Brad) and extended members of the Gill and Blackwood families. Her uncles, Robert White, Joe Frampton, George Jennings, Gerry Smith (Bev), and Hector Hynes Jr. kept in close contact with her during her illness and will miss her dearly, as will her many other aunts, uncles, cousins and very special friends.
Julie was predeceased by her father and mother, Vincent and Joan Frampton, her brother-in-law Harold Johnson, and father-in-law Maxwell Park Sr.
Julie lived her life with so much love for her family, especially her four boys and their precious children. She will be missed so much in all their lives. Unfortunately her health issues meant she couldn’t spend as much time with them as she would have liked in the last year, but Max was always there and constantly by her side to provide her with everything she could possibly need or want. Julie had so many close friends and coworkers who were also her dear friends. She may not have seen them all as much as she would have liked recently, but she always loved hearing from them and receiving their well wishes.
Julie’s family would like to thank all the health care professionals who gave her such wonderful care. Thank you to the team of doctors at the Health Science Centre, the staff at the Pulmonary Hypertension Clinic of Eastern Health, and the doctors and nurses of Western Health who looked after her during her extended stay. A special thank you to the doctors and nurses of Western Health’s ICU who provided care during her illness, and those who made sure she was resting comfortably for the past few days. Your kindness and professionalism will not be forgotten.
Visitation will take place at Fillatre’s Funeral Home, St. Mark’s Avenue on Saturday, January 21st from 7-9 PM and on Sunday, January 22nd from 2-4 PM and 7-9 PM. The funeral service will be held on Monday, January 23rd at 2 PM at St. Michael’s Church on Park Drive, officiated by Reverend Mickton. Burial will take place at Mount Patricia Cemetery. The funeral Service will be livestreamed through Fillatre Funeral Home Ltd. Facebook page.
Donations may be made to the Pulmonary Hypertension Association at www.phacanada.ca/donate or to a charity of one’s choice. Flowers would also be gratefully accepted.
