On Friday December 30, 2022, Mrs. Joyce Larson of Irma, Alberta passed away at her home at the age of 76 years.
Joyce will be remembered and missed by her husband Roger; children Kirk (Shelley), Lenard and Kim (Allan); grandchildren Rhaea, Raegan, Lauryn, Larick and Levrett; brother Gordon; sisters Marion, Carol, Shirley and Linda; and many friends and relatives.
Joyce grew up in Irma, Alberta, and lived there her whole life. She worked at the Irma post office for over 20 years. Joyce loved living on the farm where she spent lots of time outside in her yard and garden. She showed her love by baking and cooking for her family. Camping with family, watching curling and shopping were a few of her favourite pastimes.
Joyce was predeceased by her parents Obert and Mable Lovig; brothers Orville, Mervin, Ronald, Art and Clair; and sister Donna.
A graveside service will be held Friday, January 6, 2023, at the Irma Cemetery, Irma, Alberta at 2:00 PM.
If so desired, the family suggests any memorial donations made in Joyce’s name be made to the Alberta Cancer Foundation.
