It is with great sorrow that the family of Joseph Wilk announce the sudden passing of their beloved husband, father, and grandfather on December 26th, 2022, at the age of 64.
He will be lovingly remembered and forever missed by his wife of 37 years, Jolanta; his children Ania and Piotr; his grandson and best friend, Jacob, as well as numerous relatives and friends.
Joseph was predeceased by his parents, Bronislawa and Jan.
Joseph – who was also known as Joe to his close friends and family – was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather who valued his family above all else. His many years in the oil and gas industry, traveling around the world, meeting new people, and making friends everywhere he went, gave him a great appreciation for life, a maturity about death, and made him a wonderful storyteller. Joseph was a great man, a strong man, and his family’s hero. He enjoyed sports and the outdoors, and spending quality time with his grandson, Jacob.
He will be dearly missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
A Visitation will be held on Friday, January 6, 2023 from 5:00pm to 7:00pm in Connelly McKinley Funeral Home.
A Funeral Mass will be Celebrated on Saturday, January 7, 2023 at 11:30am in Our Lady Queen of Poland Catholic Church.
Following the service, please join the family for a time of fellowship and refreshments at Ella Euro Catering – Central Lions Recreation Centre.
