Passed peacefully away on June 17, 2023 at the Central Newfoundland Regional Health Centre, Joseph George Seymour at the age of 74 years. He is predeceased by his parents, Joseph Seymour Sr. and Theresa (Rideout); sister, Violet (Jack) Butt and parents-in-law Jim and Anne Gardner. He leaves to mourn his wife, Ava; sons, Michael (Vinita) Seymour and Greg (Tracey) Kelly; daughters Theresa-Anne (Corey) Prowse, and Florence (Robert) Pierce. Also left to mourn his sister, Florence (Cecil) Gilbert; five grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, very special nephew Arch (Roberta) Butt; special first cousin Lily (Bob) Collins; Peter (Juanita) Gardner, John (Denise) Gardner, Paula Collins (Wilf), Chris Gardner, Alma Gardner Norton (Bruce), Carl Gardner, Michael (Jackie) Gardner and Jerry (Ivy) Gardner; and best friend, Lara Wall.
Rev. Robin Trevors will conduct the funeral service from St. Andrews Anglican Church in Bishop’s Falls on Thursday, June 22, 2023 at 2pm. Interment will follow at St. Andrews Anglican Cemetery in Bishop’s Falls.
