The passing of John Lincoln Munn of Stanley, NB, husband of the late Margaret (Chase) Munn, occurred on Wednesday, January 25, 2023 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born on March 21, 1930 in Hayesville , NB , he was the son of the late Herman and Christa (Lovelace) Munn. John was a woodsman who loved horses and watching horse pulls.
John is survived by his children, Leonard Somerville of Island View, Eldina Somerville (Richard Barton) of McGivney, Wendy Judge of Cross Creek; eight grandchildren, Misty, Jessy, Samantha, Christina, Ronnie, Storm, Chester, Abby; 11 great-grandchildren; sisters, Gracie Munn, Neola Lyons, Queenie Munn; brothers, Vincent Munn (Margaret), Charlie Munn (Vonnie), Herb Munn (Paulette) Allen Munn (Elizabeth).
Besides his wife and parents, John was predeceased by his brothers, Calvin Munn and Milton Munn.
A Memorial Service will be held at York Funeral Home’s T. Gordon MacLeod Memorial Chapel, 302 Brookside Drive , Fredericton , NB on Sunday, January 29, 2023 at 2 pm. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to Canadian Cancer Society or Heart and Stroke Foundation of New Brunswick. Personal condolences may be offered through www.yorkfh.com
