Suddenly at Huntsville District Memorial Hospital on Monday March 27, 2023. John, beloved husband of Lori (nee MacKay) was in his 68th year.
Cherished father of Ryan Hayward (Spencer Jeffries) and Jennifer Rodriguez (Ricardo Rodriguez).
Proud grandfather of Harper and Stella Rodriguez.
Son of Rance and Sophie Hayward and brother of Marilyn Hayward, Wayne Hayward, Karen Hayward, and Janice Goswell.
Loving uncle to many nieces and nephews, and cherished friend to many. You know who you are.
A graveside service to celebrate John’s life will be conducted on Saturday July 29, 2023, in the Knox United Cemetery in Kearney commencing at 1:00 pm with family and friends officiating.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Opatovsky Funeral Home-Dempster Chapel in Burk’s Falls.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
