The death occurred at his home, on Friday, April 14, 2023, of
John G. Harris Rogers, age 72, of Brae, PEI.
Beloved husband of Barb (nee Hamill). Cherished father
to Justin (Laura) Rogers and Maribeth (Joey) Rogers Neale.
Loving Grandfather to his precious grandchildren Luke, Isabella,
Helena and Mary.
Dear brother to Rev. Sandra Rogers, Russell (Kay) Rogers, Ann
(Ron) Turner, Susan Rogers, Stephen (Kathy) Rogers, Alex (Michelle)
Rogers. He will be sadly missed by his brother and
sisters-in-law Ella (Blair) MacDonald, Mary Lou Hamill, Louis (Dianne)
Hamill, Kathy (Jimmy) Reeves and Richard Hamill.
He will also be missed by the following special nieces and
nephews, Helen Lapoint, Kathy McLean, Dr. Sue-Ann MacDonald, Gordon
MacDonald, Dr. Sean Rogers, Dr. Angela Barreth, Vanessa Hortie-Rogers,
Michaella Hortie-Rogers, Traci Creelman, Tammy McNeil, Michael Turner,
Timothy Turner, Angela Arsenault, Dr. April-Sue Dalton, Alexandra
Dalton, Maeghan Rogers, Karsten Rogers, Thomas Rogers, Kristie Rogers,
Michelle MacDonald, Gregory MacDonald, Patrick MacDonald, Ryan Hamill,
Steven Hamill, Thomas Hamill, Nicole Reeves-Drummond and Marilynn
Reeves.
John was predeceased by his loving parents Harris and Helena
Rogers, mother and father-in-law, Bert and Mary Hamill, sister-in-law
Audrey Hamill and brother-in-law Harold MacEwen.
Resting at the Ferguson Funeral Home and Chapel,
O’Leary, with visiting hours Wednesday from 5 to 8
pm. Funeral will be held on Thursday at the Brae United
Church at 11 am. Interment to follow in the Brae United Church
Cemetery. Reception at the Brae United Church Hall.
Brethren of the Corinthian Lodge #19 will hold a
masonic service for their late brother on Wednesday evening at 4:30
before public visitation.
