In loving memory of Jodie Lee White
Jodie was born in Vermilion, AB on February 13, 1975 and passed away peacefully with her family at her side at the Leduc Hospital on January 28, 2023 at the age of 47.
Jodie fought a courageous and brave four year battle with ovarian cancer. She leaves to mourn her cherished daughter Paige McGurgin (Erik), her parents Marlene and Jerry White, her brother Jason (Jill) White, brother in law Ashley Springer, brother in law and sister in law Brian and Janet McGurgin, and brother in law Phil McGurgin, nephews Tanner White and Ethan Springer, and niece Brooklyn Springer. Jodie also leaves behind a large extended family that loved her dearly including Aunts, Uncles, and many cousins as well as many close friends . She was predeceased by her sister Erin Springer on January 17, 2023, mother-in-law Pat McGurgin, and her Grandparents Joe and Jean Yarmuch and Phillip White.
Jodie had many interests and was very artistic in many ways. She loved refinishing furniture, painting, cooking, listening to music, visiting second hand stores, creating flower arrangements and planting flowers. Jodie loved the holidays and always decorated her home for every season. She was full of life and always enjoyed having a good laugh. The twinkle in her eyes and beautiful smile will be engrained in our memory forever.
Jodie, you will forever remain in our hearts. May you rest in peace.
Cremation will take place and a private family memorial will be held at a later date.
