AINSWORTH: Joan Marie (nee Sheppard) — passed away peacefully on Thursday, July 13, 2023 at her son’s home in St. Williams. Joan Ainsworth of Simcoe in her 82nd year.
Beloved wife and & best friend of Gary Ainsworth who predeceased her November 23, 2022. Joan (Sheppard) Ainsworth. Loving mother of Brent (Jodi) of Simcoe and Brian of RR#2 St. Williams. Sadly missed by her grandchildren Jessica (Darren), Mitchell, Jordyn (Tanner), Matthew (Madison) and great granddaughter Lauren. Survived by her sister Linda Gee (Craig Price ) of Hamilton and sisters-in-law Dorothy “Skip” Ainsworth and Betty Lou Ainsworth both of Brantford.
Predeceased by her parents Ivan & Grace (Best) Sheppard and brother-in-law Bill Gee
Relatives and friends will be received in the Jeffrey W. Glendinning Funeral Home, 36 Front St. Port Rowan on Tuesday from 6-8pm. A public graveside service will take place on Wednesday, July 19, 2023 at 11:00am in the Port Dover Cemetery.
