It is with deep sadness we announce the passing of our beloved wife, sister and aunt, Jezebel Dianah Bearspaw on May 28, 2023, in Calgary, Alberta. Jezebel was born in High River, Alberta on December 9, 1980.
Jezebel loved her family, would do anything for them and was there whenever she was needed. Jezebel loved spending time with her family laughing, teasing, and joking with them. She was a humble caring person and met everyone with a smile. She had a lot of friends who will miss her dearly. Jezebel got her education at the Eden Valley School. Jezebel loved her cultural up bringing and practiced her traditional ways. In her younger days she loved going to traditional camps with her family and enjoyed making dry meat with her late mom and aunties.
Left to mourn Jezebels passing is her partner of 10 years Jason Zeeger; daughter Savannah (Tom) Bearspaw; special nephew Lakota; special nieces Angelica and Cassia; brothers Vinnie Bearspaw, Bradford (Lorendal), Samuel Bearspaw; special sister Glennis (Andy) Daniels; adopted brothers Reggie Rider (Lacey), Harry (Gina) Daniels, Ray Spotted One and Tenadore Hoof; adopted sisters PJ Daniels and Wyonna Ear; uncles Jerry Bearspaw, Avery (Marlene), Ron Poucette (Martina), Carlos (Anja) Smalleyes, Myron Smalleyes and Dallas Dixon, Treyvin and Oliver (Wanda); aunties Antonie Smalleyes, Rhonda Bearspaw, Nancy Ear, Cassandra, Jane, Barb Poucette, Brenda (Bob) Lefthand, Jay Delyn (Corey) Jim, Roxanne (Bernard) and Jessica; adopted dad Rex (Janice) Daniels; traditional grandmas Ina Poucette and Annie Wesley; nephews Morphious, Jerome, Dakota, Kyson, Scott and Gideon (Pooh Bear) Daniels; nieces Winter, Mariah, Canaida and Bobbie; as well as numerous relatives from the Bearspaw, Ear, Poucette, Smalleyes, Lefthand, Dixon, Crawler Baptiste, Powderface, Daniels, Starlight and Wesley families. We apologize if we missed anyone.
Jezebel was predeceased by her parents Durrel Bearspaw and Cindy Ear; grandparents George Smalleyes and Maizie Bearspaw, Ronald Poucette and Doris Ear; brother Samson; uncles Floyd, Taylor, and Gerald; aunties Serena, Rowena, Jeanette and Shiela.
