Obituary of Jean McCarron
With heavy hearts, yet grateful for a full, well lived life, the family announces that Jean McCarron (nee Wride) passed away peacefully at the Arnprior and District Memorial Hospital on Wednesday morning, April 5, 2023.
Jean Lenore McCarron of Arnprior, formerly of Amherstburg was in her 94th year.
Beloved wife of the late Don McCarron (December 26, 1995). Much loved and devoted mother of Frank and Paulette McCarron.
The oldest child of the late Leonard and Beth Wride of Amherstburg and Zephyrhills; she was predeceased by her four brothers and is survived by her two sisters and one sister-in-law: Rose Neff of Tacoma, WA., Cara Wilkie of Tecumseh, ON., and Eleanor Wride of Markham, ON. Also survived and lovingly remembered by many nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews and great great nieces and nephews as well as her many friends from church, lawn bowling, Open Mic Nights, cards at the Seniors Active Living Centre and her comedy act as “The Old Broad.” She enjoyed reading and was an 80+ year stamp collector.
Jean’s care has been entrusted to the
Pilon Family Funeral Home and Chapel Ltd., 50 John Street North, Arnprior
where visitation will be held on Wednesday morning, April 12th from 9:30 to 10:45.
A celebration of Jean’s life will take place in the Pilon Family Chapel at 11 o’clock. Reception to follow.
The service will be webcast live for those unable to attend.
