Passed away peacefully at home on
Saturday January 28th, 2023 at the age of 85 years.
Beloved wife of the late Edward Mailey. Loving mother of Debra (Neal) Smith, Pamela (Larry) Walker, Alan (Robin) Mailey and Sharon Mailey (Shawn Rekker). Adoring Nan of Stephen (Christina), Ryan (Sarah), Craig, Megan (Ashley), Andrew (Tamara), Anita (Shane), Scott (Clarissa), Shealyn (Christian), Matthew, Brody, Kaitlyn & Zack and Great-Nan of Aiden, Ronan, Ethan, Mason, Logan, Carson, Korie, Jaxon, Lillian and Edward. Dear sister of Derek Virtue and the late John Paul Virtue and sister in law Ivy Boal. She was predeceased by her parents, Les & Mildred Virtue. Jean will be missed by so many, especially her dear friend Jean Masse.
Visitation will be held at NORTHCUTT ELLIOTT FUNERAL HOME, 53 Division St. N. Bowmanville on Saturday February 4th from 11 am – 12:30 pm. Funeral Service will be held at 12:30 pm in the Chapel. Interment Bowmanville Cemetery. Memorial Donations may be made to The Durham Region Cancer Centre or Oak Ridges Hospice.
