occurred peacefully at the Kings County Memorial Hospital of Jean
Stewart, age 75, of Montague and formerly Wood Islands on Jan 16,
2023. Born in Wood Islands on March 21, 1947, she was the daughter of
the late George and Myrtle (MacMillan) Stewart. Jean survived by her
sister Faye and her brother John (Anita); her nieces and nephews Terry
(Stewart) Mutch, Jerry (Lisa) Stewart, Glenda (Dennis MacKinnon)
Vuozzo, David (Sheila) Blue, Heidi Fox, Ron (Shawna) Blue, Lisa
(Jared) Jackson, Amy (William Singleton) Stewart, and numerous grand
nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was predeceased by her brother Sandy
Stewart and sisters Bernice Blue, Glenda Stewart, and Judy Vuozzo, and
nephews Mark Vuozzo and Adam Vuozzo. Ferguson Logan Montague Funeral
Home entrusted with arrangements.
No visiting
hours by request with interment at the Wood Islands Cemetery.
Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Wood
Islands Cemetery would be appreciated.
The family would
like to thank the staff at the Kings County Memorial Hospital for
providing care and comfort to Jean in these last few weeks.
