It is with a heavy heart we announce the passing of Jane Elda Henry (Stacknik). Jane passed peacefully at Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital on December 26th after a courageous two-year long battle with leukemia.
Jane lived her life with wisdom, compassion, and strength, which she shared with those around her and in her career working with children with disabilities. She loved her friends and family fiercely, and she will be missed fiercely.
She is survived by her loving husband John Henry. Her adoring daughters Kristine Henry (Dima) and Amanda Henry. Her grandson Eli, and her brother Robert Stacknik (Sharon). She rejoins her mother Sylvia, father John, and sister Vicky.
Jane’s celebration of life will be held on January 29th from 2:00pm to 4:00pm at the Lougheed Funeral Home, 252 Regent St., at Hazel St., Sudbury. In lieu of flowers the family requests donation be made to Princess Margaret Cancer foundation, who were a wonderful source of support during Janes difficult battle. supportthepmcf.ca
